Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since she was a teen she was involved both in traditional and popular music. Her singing interests have broadened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Her voice has been described by no less a talent than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp and with a bite that is similar to the old ones. El Mal Querer gained her fame and critical acclaim when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. The album earned it the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. The show premiered in March 2022. was released following Saturday Night Live's performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the very first Spanish artist to perform alone on the popular program. As well as winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
